The base is located in the northwest of Shunyi District, Beijing, in Zhaoquanying Town at the junction of Shunyi, Changping, and Huairou districts. It is bordered by the Jundu Mountains and the Jingmi Diversion Canal to the north, overlooks the Capital Airport and the Sixth Ring Expressway to the south, adjoins National Highway 101 to the east, and has the Jingcheng Expressway running north-south through the territory to the west.

The base long-term supplies: high and mid-grade cold-season type Kentucky bluegrass and tall fescue turf. The turf is suitable for: villa courtyards, apartment complexes, parks, highway isolation, highway slope protection, football fields, golf courses, rooftop gardens, schools, hospitals, factories, hotels, and other greening lawns. The turf is applicable in regions: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shanxi, and other areas.
