RY-CW1600 Road Ice Sensor

I. Product Introduction

The RY-CW1600 Icing Online Monitoring Sensor utilizes unique microwave detection technology and multi-parameter fusion algorithms. It detects the output values of the sensor's monitoring surface under different material states: icing, ice thickness, water accumulation, temperature, etc., and integrates temperature detection and temperature compensation technology to monitor icing and ice thickness.

The sensor can simultaneously output icing early warning and icing alarm values, and can also be used in conjunction with temperature and humidity sensors for comprehensive environmental monitoring of road surfaces. It is currently the only domestically developed embedded road condition monitoring sensor capable of detecting ice thickness, water film thickness, and more.

The RY-CW1600 Icing Online Monitoring Sensor features a simple structure, easy installation, and strong anti-interference capability. It can be used for road icing monitoring on highways, airports, bridges, urban roads, etc., making it an important solution for IoT applications such as intelligent transportation and smart cities.

The RY-CW1600 Icing Online Monitoring Sensor consists of an electronic section based on MCU processing technology and a probe. A PT1000 platinum resistor is installed on the probe to provide temperature input for the sensor.

Temperature compensation is achieved through temperature acquisition by the PT1000 temperature sensor. The temperature signal calibrates the calibration curve in the MCU, improving the accuracy of ice detection.
