I. Features and Applications
Used for personal cumulative dose detection of X and γ rays; Lithium fluoride thermoluminescent detectors are passive solid integrating detectors. They feature small size (high spatial resolution), effective atomic number close to air and human tissues, no interference from electromagnetic radiation, wide measurement range, low measurable lower limit, good reproducibility, and the ability to measure pulsed radiation fields with high dose rates. They can be applied to personal monitoring of ionizing radiation, environmental monitoring, specific radiation field measurements (including differential measurement of n-γ mixed fields). They can also be used in disciplines such as radiation medicine, radiobiology, reactor engineering, and archaeology.
II. Performance Indicators
1. Linear range: 10-7—12Gy (10μrad—1200rad).
For HP(10), x v20KeV—9MeV
For HP(0.07), x v10KeV—1.5MeV
2. Detection lower limit: 0.1 μGy; Relative sensitivity per mg: 30—40 times that of TLD-100.
3. Detection threshold: approximately 10-7Gy (~10μrad).
4. Angular response: <11%
5. Dispersion of the same batch: <5% (1σ).
6. Nonlinearity: <3% (Repeatability: ≤2%).
7. Working environment: T<50%; RH<90%.
8. Energy response (photons of 30KeV~3MeV): <20%
9. Neutron response: The response to the absorbed dose caused by heavy particles has LET dependence, which is conducive to separating the γ component in n-γ mixed fields.
10. Stability of stored information: No obvious decay after one month of storage at room temperature, with a decay of approximately 3% after one month of storage at 50℃.
11. Light effect: No obvious response to indoor scattered sunlight, incandescent light, and fluorescent lamps; Response to direct sunlight (ultraviolet light)
12 . Cumulative dose loss within 3 months: <10%;

III. Operating Conditions and Precautions
1. Measurement heating procedure:
It is recommended to adopt a two-stage temperature programming. The first stage constant temperature is 135℃ for 8 seconds, the second stage constant temperature is 240℃ for 20 seconds, and the heating rate is 15℃/s
2. Annealing conditions for repeated use: 240±2℃ (must not exceed 242℃), 10 minutes (constant temperature time).
3. Heating and annealing conditions for glass tube elements and powder elements:
Measurement temperature: 270℃, the first stage constant temperature is 140℃ (10 seconds), the second stage constant temperature is 270℃ (15 seconds), and the heating rate is 40℃/s
Annealing temperature: 240±2℃ (must not exceed 242℃), 10 minutes (constant temperature time).
