Usage Description
MPS307 is a high-efficiency scale inhibitor developed for reverse osmosis (RO) systems in seawater, brackish water, and high TDS water. It can control the LSI in concentrated water up to 2.8, making it an excellent choice for large municipal projects and highly suitable for flash evaporation systems in seawater desalination. It can be used with reverse osmosis membranes, TFC membranes, and nanofiltration elements from Dow Chemical (Filmtec), Hydranautics, and domestic manufacturers.

Usage Requirements
Dosage
MPS307 should be continuously dosed into the feed water before it enters the membrane system. The typical dosage is 3-5 mg/l, depending on water chemistry, membrane type, and system operating parameters (such as recovery rate, temperature, and pressure). For flash evaporation systems in seawater desalination, the typical dosage is 5-15 mg/l. Specific dosage should be calculated using the supplier's software.
Dilution
MPS307 should be dosed continuously. It is recommended to dose the concentrate directly at the maximum frequency of the metering pump. Alternatively, it can be diluted with RO product water or desalinated water, with a dilution factor not exceeding 10.
