Usage Description

MPS101 reverse osmosis flocculant is a water-soluble inorganic electrolyte, with the main active component being high-iron compounds. It is an efficient water purification agent in water treatment processes, with significant effects in precipitating heavy metals and sulfides, decolorization, deodorization, oil removal, sterilization, phosphorus removal, and reducing effluent COD and BOD. It can be used with reverse osmosis membranes and TFC membranes from Dow Filmtec (USA), Hydranautics, as well as domestic nanofiltration membrane elements.

Usage Requirements

Dosage: When using, it is recommended to prepare a 10-20% concentration aqueous solution, preferably using reverse osmosis effluent or desalted water.

When used alone, the dosage is 30-50 mg/l. When used in combination with other organic coagulants, the dosage is 10-20 mg/l. The appropriate dosage can be determined through jar tests based on actual field conditions.

Dosing Point: Generally selected before the multi-media filter, directly added by a metering pump, or mixed thoroughly with the raw water by the feed pump suction.
