Polyvinylidene fluoride resin DY-3

  Polyvinylidene fluoride resin DY-3 is a homopolymer of vinylidene fluoride, which exhibits good solubility in certain solvents. It is suitable for preparing membrane materials through the solution casting process.
  Membrane materials prepared from DY-3 using appropriate processes possess excellent mechanical strength and toughness. They are resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis, strong oxidizing agents, and halogens at room temperature. They remain stable in organic solvents such as aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, and aldehydes. Their properties remain largely unchanged in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, dilute and concentrated (40%) alkali solutions, and at temperatures up to 100°C. Additionally, they are resistant to γ-ray and ultraviolet radiation and can be used over a wide temperature range for extended periods while largely retaining their properties. Among the many materials used for drinking water purification, PVDF hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes are energy-free, environmentally friendly, and capable of filtering out all bacteria, viruses, turbidity, spores, Giardia, rust, and other substances while retaining essential trace elements for the human body.

Precautions
1. DY-3 is packed in double-layer polyethylene plastic bags and then placed in rigid paper barrels, with a net content of 20kg per barrel. Packaging can also be customized according to user requirements.
2. DY-3 should be stored in a clean, cool, and dry warehouse to prevent contamination by dust, moisture, and other impurities.
3. DY-3 is transported as a non-hazardous product. During transportation, it should be protected from moisture, rolling, and severe vibration.
4. This product should not be processed or used at temperatures above 370°C to prevent decomposition and the release of toxic gases.
