- Glass plate level gauges are suitable for directly indicating the liquid level of media in various containers such as towers, tanks, vats, and boxes. Safety steel balls are installed inside the upper and lower valves of the gauge. In the event of accidental glass breakage, the steel balls automatically close the liquid flow channel under the pressure of the container to prevent further leakage of the liquid. Based on the principle of communicating vessels, the liquid level of the medium inside the container is transmitted to the external glass plate level gauge, and the actual height of the liquid level is read from the transparent glass surface. The sealing packing for the gauge valve stem uses flexible graphite compression rings, ensuring superior sealing performance. Usage Instructions: After installation and before operation, slowly open the valve by turning the handwheel one full turn, then maintain this position for about 5 minutes before fully opening the valve. When assembling the glass plate during maintenance, take care to avoid uneven stress on the glass that could cause breakage when tightening the bolts.
