Sodium methacrylate, also known as sodium methacrylate salt. Soluble in water, the solution is clear and transparent. It should be stored sealed in a cool, dry place away from light. It is irritating; avoid direct contact. It is a chemical intermediate.

Uses:
1. Sodium methacrylate is used as a dispersant and can also be used as an auxiliary material in coatings. Sodium methacrylate polymerizes to form sodium polyacrylate, which is a type of polyanionic polymer electrolyte and an important chemical product with a wide range of applications developed in modern times.
2. Sodium polyacrylate includes water-soluble and water-swellable types. Water-swellable sodium polyacrylate falls into the category of superabsorbent polymers. Water-soluble sodium polyacrylate, on the other hand, exhibits various properties depending on its molecular weight and is widely used in food, feed, textiles, papermaking, water treatment, petrochemicals, agriculture, horticulture, personal hygiene, and other fields.
3. Sodium polyacrylate is mostly produced by polymerizing acrylic acid neutralized with sodium hydroxide. It can also be copolymerized with other monomers to modify its properties and synthesize sodium polyacrylate copolymers with special characteristics.
