Properties and Applications

Antioxidant 2246 is a high-performance, non-staining antioxidant. In the rubber industry, it serves as an antioxidant for synthetic rubber, latex, and natural rubber, and is one of the superior varieties among phenolic antioxidants. Rubber products containing this antioxidant resist thermal-oxidative aging, partially prevent light, ozone aging, and damage from repeated deformation, and can passivate variable-valence metal salts. It is used in light-colored and colored rubber products. In the plastics industry, it prevents thermal and light aging of chlorinated polyether, impact-resistant polystyrene, ABS resin, polyformaldehyde, and cellulose resin, with a usage amount of 0.5–1%.

Antioxidant 2246 is stable with no special storage requirements. Store away from high temperatures and moisture. Packed in paper-plastic bags with inner plastic bags, net weight 20 kg/bag. Custom packaging is available according to customer requirements.
