Physical and Chemical Properties: Colorless cubic crystals or white crystalline powder. Salty, cool, and slightly bitter taste. Relative density 1.527. Easily soluble in water, soluble in liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in acetone and ether. Begins to volatilize significantly at 100°C, dissociates into ammonia and hydrogen chloride at 337.8°C, and recombines upon cooling to form extremely fine ammonium chloride particles, appearing as a dense white mist that does not settle easily and is very difficult to redissolve in water. Sublimes at 350°C, boiling point 520°C. Low hygroscopicity, but can absorb moisture and cake in damp, rainy weather. Aqueous solution is weakly acidic, acidity increases when heated. Corrosive to ferrous and other metals, especially to copper, but non-corrosive to cast iron.

Product Usage: Used in the manufacture of adhesives, detergents, dyeing auxiliaries, and also in industries such as electroplating, welding, tanning, medicine, and photography.

Packaging, Transportation, and Storage: Packed in plastic woven bags lined with plastic film or coated with plastic film inside, with a net weight of 25kg or 50kg per bag. The packaging should be marked with durable "Keep away from heat and moisture" signs. Should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry warehouse, with attention to moisture prevention. Avoid co-storage and mixed transportation with acids and alkalis. Protect from rain and exposure to direct sunlight during transportation. Handle with care during loading and unloading to prevent packaging damage. In case of fire, extinguish with water, sand, or carbon dioxide fire extinguishers.

Safety: Highly corrosive; avoid skin contact. Permissible concentration of ammonium chloride fumes in the air is mg/m³. Operators should wear work clothes, masks, latex gloves, and other protective equipment. Production equipment should be sealed, and workshop ventilation should be adequate.
