Application Example of Bottom Fluidizer in Blast Furnace Pulverized Coal Injection System in the Metallurgical Industry In the blast furnace pulverized coal injection system of the metallurgical industry, this type of fluidization device has been widely and maturely applied. One such fluidized injection device, specifically designed for blast furnace injection, uses a 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plate with a precisely controlled thickness of 3mm as the core fluidizing component. This stainless steel material offers excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and wear resistance, enabling it to withstand long-term erosion from coal particles and the harsh environmental conditions around the blast furnace.
In terms of structural design, the device features a cross-shaped layout of elongated slots on the stainless steel circular panel, with all slots perpendicularly distributed relative to the central cross line. Specific parameters include: slot gap precision of 0.5mm, slot length controlled at approximately 20mm, slot spacing set at 10mm, and a precise 1×45° chamfer applied to the lower edge of each slot.
This refined structural design directs compressed air to concentrate its injection toward the center of the device, forming a high-intensity central airflow zone. This significantly enhances the suspension and fluidization effect of pulverized coal in the central area, effectively preventing coal accumulation on the device surface. As a result, coal powder enters the injection pipeline in a fluidized state, ensuring stable and uniform coal injection volume while substantially reducing the risk of equipment clogging. This greatly improves the operational performance of the fluidized injection device, providing reliable equipment support for stable blast furnace smelting, reduced coke ratio, and enhanced production efficiency.
