Working Principle:
Generating steam from flue gas or hot water utilizes a large amount of medium-temperature heat source to produce a small amount of usable high-temperature thermal energy. Specifically, it uses medium-temperature thermal energy as the driving force and, under the condition of employing low-temperature cooling water, produces heat that is less in quantity but higher in temperature than the medium-temperature heat source. This transfers part of the medium-temperature heat to a higher temperature level, thereby enhancing the utilization grade of the heat source. In comparison, it does not require a higher temperature heat source to drive the process but does need lower-temperature cooling water.
1) Usable waste heat: Generally, waste hot water, exhaust steam, steam, single or multi-component gases or liquids with temperatures above 80°C can be utilized.
2) Provided heat medium: A heat medium or steam with a temperature about 40°C higher than the waste heat source (secondary heating at 80°C), not exceeding 175°C, can be obtained.
3) Cooling water source: Cooling tower circulating water, process system cooling water, etc.
4) Heating COP below 0.5: This means that using 1MW of waste heat can yield approximately 0.46MW of heat medium required for production and daily use. It is equivalent to extracting about 46% of the heat from the waste heat source for utilization, meeting the heat medium needs of production processes and daily life.
