    Project Overview:

    Domestic asphalt mixing plants specialize in producing asphalt mixtures. Asphalt mixtures are made by combining asphalt with dried aggregates. During the drying process of aggregates, a large amount of wet flue gas is generated. The high water vapor content in the wet flue gas comes from the moisture in the aggregates and the water produced by the combustion of natural gas. After passing through the baghouse dust collector, the temperature of the wet flue gas is typically between 80°C and 100°C, with a humidity of 60% to 80%. When the flue gas enters a lower-temperature environment, its temperature drops sharply. With the moisture content remaining unchanged, the water vapor in the flue gas becomes supersaturated and rapidly condenses into water droplets using dust particles as condensation nuclei. These water droplets scatter light, resulting in the appearance of a white plume.

    The white plume elimination system for the mixer includes a condensation module, heating module, cooling module, control module, and data acquisition module.

  The condensation module functions to cool the flue gas to a certain temperature and remove some pollutants from the flue gas;

  The heating module functions to eliminate the white plume;

  The cooling module functions to discharge the heat absorbed by the system through a cooling tower. Since this heat is dissipated indirectly, it has no impact on the environment;

  The control module functions to control the start and stop of the heat exchange module, cooling module, and data acquisition module without the need for manual operation;

  The data acquisition module functions to collect all data from the condensation system and heating system, ensuring continuous and stable operation of the system;
