Product Performance Characteristics: This series of products is widely used in various printing factories, plastic factories, waste paper factories, hardware factories, garment factories, used goods recycling companies, and other enterprises. It is suitable for the baling and recycling of used goods, waste paper, plastics, etc. It is an excellent equipment for improving labor efficiency, reducing labor intensity, saving manpower, and cutting transportation costs. The nominal pressure comes in various specifications such as 5-10-15-30-50-60-80-100-120-150 tons. Additionally, custom designs can be made according to user requirements. Machine Function and Application This machine is suitable for baling waste paper, waste plastic, plastic bottles, cans, foam, and other materials that require baling. Installation Precautions 1. First, place the machine on a level surface without any shaking, then add No. 68 hydraulic oil. The amount of oil added depends on the tonnage of the equipment. 2. The machine's motor is a 4-pole 380V—50Hz. Please check whether the local voltage matches the machine's requirements. After connecting the wires (the wire size should correspond to the motor's power), turn on the power and verify the motor's rotation direction (indicated by the arrow) is clockwise. If the direction is incorrect, adjust the connection of two of the live wires. Maintenance This machine should be operated and maintained by designated personnel. After each workday, turn off the main power, clean debris around the machine, remove any foreign objects inside the machine, and apply appropriate lubricant to moving parts to reduce wear. Regularly check whether screws on various parts of the machine are loose. On new machines, parts prone to loosening include: the small flange screws on the central shaft and the four 5/8 large screws inside the pressure plate. These should be regularly tightened. Safety Precautions Before starting the baling process, first check whether all doors are properly closed, whether the door lock is fully engaged, whether the blade latch is secured, and whether the safety chain is attached to the handle. Do not proceed with baling if any of these parts are not properly secured to avoid accidents. When the machine is operating, stand beside the machine and do not extend your head, hands, or any part of your body into the door area to avoid crushing injuries. Operating Instructions 1. After completing the above checks, begin baling. First, place a piece of cardboard, woven bag, or plastic film at the bottom of the baling chamber to facilitate threading the wire after baling. Then, place the waste material into the baling chamber, ensuring it is evenly distributed and does not exceed the sides of the chamber. If the material exceeds the sides, it can easily bend or deform the door, and in severe cases, break the main cylinder. (Note: After placing the waste material, do not put your hands into the baling chamber.) 2. Press the ON switch to start the motor and oil pump. Move the manual valve to the down position, and the pressure plate will automatically press down until it can no longer descend. The sound of the motor will change when descending. If a pause is needed during the pressing process, move the manual valve to the neutral position. The pressure plate will pause, but the motor will continue to run. When the manual valve is moved to the up position, the pressure plate will rise until it reaches the upper limit switch, at which point it will automatically stop. To stop the machine, press the OFF button and move the manual valve to the neutral position. 3. During the baling process, if the material in the baling chamber exceeds the lower limit of the pressure plate and the pressure reaches 150 kg/cm², the overflow valve will activate, maintaining a pressure of 150 kg. The motor will make a noise indicating sufficient pressure, and the pressure plate will hold its position without pressing further. If the material has not reached the required baling height, move the manual valve to the up position to add more material. Repeat this process until the baling requirements are met. (Note: The typical baling height is 900mm and should not exceed 1000mm. Exceeding this height may make it difficult to remove the bale.) 4. To remove the bale, move the manual valve to the neutral position and press the OFF button to pause the pressure plate. Then, open the doors and thread the wire to remove the bale. Door Opening Sequence: When opening the doors, stand in front of the machine. First, open the front upper door, then the front lower door. When opening the lower door, stand at a 45° angle to the front of the machine and keep as far away as possible, as the blade latch has strong rebound force. Ensure no one is nearby before opening the doors. The rear doors are opened using the same method as the front doors. 5. After opening the doors, do not raise the upper pressure plate immediately. First, thread the wire through the bottom groove, then through the upper pressure plate groove, and finally tie the two ends of the wire together. Typically, 3-4 wires are used per bale for secure fastening. 6. When threading the wire, start by passing it through the front lower groove, then through the pressure plate groove, and loop it around to tie a knot. The method for threading the wire on the sides is the same as for the front. After securing the wire, raise the pressure plate and push the bale out from the top to complete the entire baling process.
