The YJ-8143 Shellac Ash Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements for ash determination specified in the standard GB/T 8143 "Methods for Inspection of Shellac Products", and is applicable to determining the ash content of shellac by the method specified in this standard. Test Principle: The sample is carbonized, incinerated at high temperature, ashed, weighed, and the ash content is calculated.
I. Main Technical Features of the YJ-8143 Shellac Ash Tester:
1. This instrument consists of three parts: a high-temperature heating furnace, a temperature control console, and an electric furnace. It has a small volume and occupies little space.
2. The heating furnace adopts an integrated structure, special refractory materials and heating components. It has a short heating time, long service life and beautiful overall design. The inner lining is a rectangular integral lining made of high-aluminum silicon carbide refractory material.
3. The temperature control console uses an adjustable digital display controller, which has small temperature overshoot and stable and accurate temperature control.
4. The heating element, which is a spiral coil wound from iron-chromium-aluminum alloy wire, is inserted into the wire slots on the upper, lower, left and right sides of the inner lining, providing heating from all four directions.
The furnace is a sealed structure. The space between the inner furnace and the furnace shell is lined with insulating layers made of refractory fiber aluminum silicate cotton and diatomite products.
5. Determination Procedure: Weigh approximately 3 g of sample passing through a sieve with an aperture of about 0.4 mm (equivalent to 40 mesh), accurate to 0.1 mg, and place it in a porcelain crucible that has been incinerated to constant weight at 500°C to 550°C. First, carbonize the sample at low temperature completely, then move it into the furnace and incinerate it at 500°C to 550°C for 1 hour. After all is ashed, take it out and cool slightly, then place it in a desiccator to cool to room temperature and weigh. Repeat incineration for 30 minutes, cool to room temperature and weigh, until the difference between the two consecutive weights is no more than 0.0005 g.
