The YJ-2102H Fully Automatic Plaster Softening Point Tester is designed in accordance with the requirements of the Plaster Softening Point Determination Method (General Rule 2102, Volume 4) of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (2020 Edition). It is used to measure the temperature at which a plaster softens when heated under specified conditions, specifically the temperature when the plaster drips by 25 mm due to heat. This instrument is used to detect the maturity of plasters and can indirectly reflect their viscosity. It is suitable for use by various plaster manufacturers, drug testing institutions, and relevant units.
I. Main Technical Features
1. Adopts technologies such as computer intelligent control, laser automatic detection, liquid crystal touch screen human-machine interface, and lead screw stepper motor lifting. It features linear temperature rise, uniform bath solution stirring, and automatic sample testing. It is a plaster softening point tester with high automation, fast and convenient testing, and accurate and reliable test results.
2. The instrument heats the solution medium and the plaster through a heating tube, and the magnetic stirrer ensures uniform temperature in the beaker. The controller uses an interpolation algorithm to control the output, making the medium rise linearly at 1.0-1.5°C per minute. During the heating process, the plaster in the test ring begins to soften slowly. When the softening point is reached, the plaster in the sample ring slowly drops in a water-drop shape under the gravity of the steel ball. The average temperature when the plasters in both sample rings drop and touch the lower baffle is the softening point temperature of the plaster.
3. The instrument mainly consists of a chassis bracket, touch screen human-machine interface, lead screw lifting system, heating temperature adjustment system, laser detection system, and magnetic stirring system.
4. To facilitate test operation and the smooth lifting of components in the beaker, a test platform is designed. The test components are suspended and positioned on the test platform. The lead screw drives the test platform and components to descend smoothly with precise positioning, ensuring the laser beam of the opposite射 laser is close to the upper side of the lower baffle.
5. The test process is displayed with animation, and the touch operation and human-machine interface are more intuitive and convenient.
6. The temperature control adopts a slope interpolation algorithm for precise temperature rise, program control, and real-time temperature monitoring.
7. The split-type magnetic stirrer uses stepless speed regulation, ensuring more uniform temperature.
8. The opposite射 laser automatically detects and judges the sample drop, with strong anti-interference ability and high response sensitivity.

A. For samples with a softening point below 80°C: 5°C～80°C (distilled water).
B. For samples with a softening point above 80°C: 32°C～162°C (glycerin).
