I. Main Applications:

The polarimeter is an instrument used to measure the optical rotation of substances. By determining the optical rotation of a sample, the concentration, purity, sugar content, or composition of the sample can be ascertained. It is widely used in sugar production, pharmaceuticals, drug testing, food, flavors, monosodium glutamate, as well as in chemical and petroleum industries for production, scientific research, and educational departments, for化验 analysis or process quality control.

II. Functional Features:

Uses an incandescent lamp with a filter instead of a sodium lamp, with an average light source lifespan exceeding 2,000 hours. The instrument can be used immediately upon startup without requiring preheating. Capable of testing the optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration, and sugar content of samples. It can automatically repeat tests 6 times and calculate the average and root mean square. The sample chamber employs a temperature control design to reduce the impact of instrument temperature rise on sample testing. Features temperature display functionality for user convenience. Can measure dark-colored samples, supports switching between Chinese and English menus, and is equipped with an RS232 interface.
