Shanghai Yiyan Drug Freezing Point Tester

Drug Freezing Point Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the "Freezing Point Determination Method" (General Rule 0613) of the 2020 edition of Part IV of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China. It measures the temperature at which a drug changes from liquid to solid and remains constant for a short period. Certain drugs have specific freezing points; when purity changes, the freezing point also changes. Determining the freezing point can distinguish or examine the degree of purity of drugs.

I. Main Technical Features of the Drug Freezing Point Tester

1. The design of this instrument complies with the requirements of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China.

2. The instrument is reasonably designed, simple to install, and easy to use.

3. The inner and outer test tubes are matched with ground glass joints for convenient operation.

4. The instrument uses a transparent high-borosilicate glass beaker, allowing for clear observation of the sample.

5. The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fixed cover is sturdy, durable, and highly corrosion-resistant.

6. A high-precision mercury thermometer for samples ensures temperature accuracy up to 0.1 degree.

7. A water bath thermometer has been added.

1. Double-layer freezing point test tube:

Inner test tube: approximately 25mm inner diameter, 170mm length

Outer test tube: approximately 40mm inner diameter, 160mm length

2. Mercury thermometer for samples:

(0～50)℃, graduation 0.1℃, compliant with pharmacopoeia requirements

(50～100)℃, graduation 0.1℃, compliant with pharmacopoeia requirements

3. Stirrer:

Made of high-borosilicate glass, slightly bent at the upper end, with a small loop (approximately 18mm in diameter) cast at the end, then bent at a right angle

4. 1000ml transparent high-borosilicate glass beaker
