Anise alcohol

Description: Colorless or pale yellow liquid. Melting point 23-25.5°C, boiling point 159°C, relative density 1.113 (15/15°C), refractive index 1.5442. Soluble in alcohol and ether, almost insoluble in water. The aroma is sweet and clean, mainly anise-like, with a delicate, slight balsamic and powdery undertone. The fragrance is mild and long-lasting.

Uses: This product has a slightly sweet anise-like aroma and is commonly used in the formulation of jasmine, lilac, and other fragrances, suitable for perfumes. It is approved as an edible flavoring agent under China's GB2760-86 standards. Primarily used to formulate vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, almond, peach, and other flavors. Also used in organic synthesis and as a solvent.

Store in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Separate from oxidizers and acidic substances; avoid mixed storage. Equip with appropriate types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment. The storage area should be equipped with leak emergency handling equipment and suitable containment materials.
