A single-point hoist is a mechanical device used to control the lifting and lowering of gates. Structure and Working Principle
The single-point hoist mainly consists of components such as an electric motor, reducer, drum, steel wire rope, and pulley block. It achieves the lifting and lowering of the gate by driving the drum to rotate, winding or unwinding the steel wire rope. Its transmission system adopts a three-stage reduction design, which balances force distribution and increases torque, making it suitable for operating large hydraulic equipment such as cast iron gates and steel gates.
Technical Parameters
Rated Lifting Capacity: Depending on the model, the lifting capacity ranges from several tons to tens of tons. For example, the QPQ series can reach up to 160 kN.
Lifting Height: The vertical lifting distance typically ranges from a few meters to tens of meters. For instance, the QPQ series has a maximum travel of 120 meters.
Operating Speed: Includes different speeds for lifting, gate closing, and running. For example, the lifting speed can reach several meters per minute, and the gate closing speed can rapidly descend in emergency situations.
Applicable Scenarios
Single-point hoists are widely used in water conservancy and hydropower projects such as reservoirs, rivers, and hydropower stations. They are particularly suitable for scenarios where gates are frequently operated (e.g., ship locks, irrigation and drainage stations). Their simple structure and ease of maintenance make them a mainstream choice.
