Reservoir Steel Gate

Reservoir steel gates are critical equipment in hydraulic engineering used to regulate water levels and control flow, primarily consisting of three parts: the leaf structure, embedded components, and hoisting machinery.
Structural Composition
Leaf Structure: Includes the skin plate, support and travel system, and sealing system. The skin plate adopts a lattice cross-section design; small gates are integrally cast, while medium and larger ones are assembled in blocks. The support and travel system consists of main wheels, side wheels, and reverse wheels. Plane gates often use oil-impregnated nylon sliders (with a friction coefficient one-third that of steel). The sealing device employs foam rubber strips, with gaps controlled to ≤0.1 mm when fully closed.
Embedded Components: Include main tracks, lintels, sills, and other parts, anchored to the secondary concrete via foundation bolts.
Hoisting Equipment: Depending on the gate type, equipped with winch-type (maximum specification 50 KN) or screw-type hoists.
