The steel composite gate is a new type of hydraulic structural equipment that combines the advantages of steel gates and cast iron gates, featuring high strength, easy maintenance, and excellent water-sealing performance. ‌
Structural Composition
It mainly consists of components such as the gate frame, gate body, guide rails, wedge tightening device, and sealing surface. The gate frame is integrally cast from cast iron, with built-in guide grooves on both sides serving as the lifting guides for the gate body. The water-sealing surface of the gate body is precisely matched with the cast iron gate frame, adopting a rigid water-sealing design that is wear-resistant and offers good sealing performance. ‌
Working Principle
It controls water flow by raising or lowering the gate body, utilizing rigid water-sealing technology to maintain excellent sealing performance even under high-pressure water head conditions. Compared to traditional rubber water seals, it offers greater durability, and the wedge-shaped pressing block can be adjusted to recalibrate the water-sealing gap after wear. ‌
Application Scenarios
It is suitable for large-span, high-head hydraulic engineering projects, such as drainage and flood diversion bidirectional flow culvert gates. It is also widely used in the reinforcement and risk mitigation of defective and hazardous sluice gates, offering both economic efficiency and reliability.
