Cast Iron Sluice Gate

Flat cast iron gates are small flat gates primarily used for regulating flow and controlling water levels, commonly found in municipal construction, agricultural irrigation, and water supply and drainage projects. Their structure consists of two parts: the gate leaf and the gate frame, made of cast iron, typically cast and machined as a single unit.
Structural Features
Material and Processing: The gate body is made of cast iron materials (HT250 gray cast iron or ductile iron), cast as a single unit and precision-machined to ensure flatness and sealing performance.
Sealing Design: Metal water stops or rubber sealing strips are used, with wedge block devices adjusting the sealing gap to ≤0.1mm, achieving bidirectional water retention.
Gate Body Form: The panel can be designed as flat or arched to accommodate different water pressure requirements; for larger sizes, a segmented assembly structure can be adopted.
Function and Application
Typically installed at channel or culvert inlets, they serve as working gates to regulate flow or as maintenance gates to close openings and block water.
Compatible with manual, electric, hydraulic, and other hoisting methods, the drive mechanism connects the gate to the hoist via a transmission screw.
