Structural Characteristics
It adopts an external arc design with a rational structure and uniform stress distribution. It consists of two parts: the gate leaf and the gate frame, with the main material being gray cast iron or ductile iron, featuring a precision-machined planar contact sealing structure. The gate body can be designed as flat or arched, and larger-sized gates can adopt a segmented assembly structure.
Function and Application
It is used to block or facilitate water flow, with the hoist driving the gate plate to rise or lower for water level regulation and flow control. It is suitable for fields such as water conservancy and hydropower, municipal construction, and water supply and drainage. The normal leakage rate is ≤0.07 liters per meter per second, and it can withstand a certain reverse water head pressure.
Sealing and Adjustment
It uses bronze or rubber sealing strips, with the gap of the sealing surface adjusted (≤0.1 mm) via a wedge block device to ensure water retention. When sealing performance declines, it can be restored through wedge block adjustment.
Drive Method
It comes standard with a manual or electric screw hoist, supports remote control, and features an integrated design of the hoist and gate body, offering compact space usage and convenient maintenance.
