Hand-operated Screw Hoist

The hand-operated screw hoist is a mechanical device used for manually operating plane gates, primarily employed in small-scale hydraulic engineering, farmland irrigation, river regulation, and other scenarios without power supply. Its core structure includes a screw, hand crank, gear set, thrust bearing, and housing. It operates by manually driving the gear transmission to achieve the lifting and lowering of the screw, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the gate. It also features a self-locking function, allowing the gate to be stopped at any position. ‌
Structural Composition
Mainly consists of components such as the hand crank, screw, housing, support frame, large/small gears, and thrust bearing. The screw is connected to the gate, enabling the gate's lifting and lowering through rotational motion. The hand crank serves as the manual input device, while the gear set is responsible for power transmission. ‌
Working Principle
Manual rotation of the hand crank drives the gear set to rotate, which in turn drives the screw to perform linear motion within the nut, thereby pushing the gate to open or close. Equipped with a self-locking function, the gate can remain stationary at any position and maintain a sealed state. ‌
Applicable Scenarios
Suitable for situations with relatively small flow rates and low requirements for opening/closing precision, such as farmland irrigation channels, small reservoirs, and temporary hydraulic engineering. It features easy operation and does not require electrical power support. ‌
Installation Requirements
Installation must ensure that the base levelness and the vertical deviation of the screw axis are less than 3mm. During debugging, no-load and load tests must be conducted, and the error in configuring the upper and lower limit switches should not exceed 1 centimeter.
