Structural Composition
Composed of a gate frame, gate leaf, guide rails, sealing strips, and other components. The gate leaf is made of cast iron (such as HT250 gray cast iron or ductile cast iron), with surface treatments including copper inlay or rubber sealing surfaces.
Functional Characteristics
Unidirectional Sealing: A sealing device is installed only on the upstream side (i.e., the water inlet side), achieving bidirectional sealing through wedges and water pressure, with leakage controlled within 0.03-0.07 L/m·s.
Pressure-Bearing Capacity: The designed water head typically does not exceed 5 meters, making it suitable for small to medium-sized hydraulic projects (such as rivers, reservoirs, hydropower stations, etc.).
Installation Requirements: Requires hoisting into the groove as a whole unit, with adjustments made during secondary concrete pouring to ensure sealing surface gaps are within 0.1mm for effective sealing.
Application Scenarios
Primarily used in scenarios requiring backflow prevention, such as pressure outlet wells in stormwater pumping stations and municipal water supply and drainage pipelines, to avoid river water backflow during high water levels.
