Supporting arms are divided into straight arms and inclined arms, suitable for openings with larger width-to-height ratios and wide open-top scenarios, respectively.
Classification Methods
By water depth: Open-top (water level does not exceed the gate top) and submerged (water level above the gate top);
By arm type: Straight arms (suitable for openings with smaller width-to-height ratios) and inclined arms (often used in broad water areas);
By hinge type: Cylindrical hinges, conical hinges, spherical hinges, etc., with cylindrical hinges being the most widely used due to their simple structure.

Superior hydraulic conditions: Gate slot-free design reduces water flow resistance, making it suitable for flood discharge needs;
Low operating force: Opening and closing are achieved by rotating around the support hinge, requiring minimal operational force;
