A hydraulic steel dam is a hydraulic engineering facility that uses a hydraulic drive system to control the rotation or lifting of steel gates, combining both water retention and flood discharge functions. Its core structure includes a steel gate body, a hydraulic drive system, and embedded components, with lifting or rotating actions achieved through direct hydraulic cylinder actuation.
Structure and Working Principle
The hydraulic steel dam consists of a steel plate welded gate body, a hydraulic drive system (including oil cylinders and pump stations), and embedded fixtures. The gate body is continuously arranged along the dam axis without intermediate support piers. The hydraulic system drives the gate body to rotate or lift by controlling the extension and retraction of the oil cylinders, enabling precise water level regulation.
