1. Forced Gate Closure and Reliable Self-Locking (The Core Advantage)
Working Principle: The screw itself acts as both the transmission component and the load-bearing component. When the gate descends, the screw rotates to "push" or "pull" the gate downward.
Forced Closure: Regardless of the water level difference (water pressure) on either side of the gate, the screw can provide downward pressure to ensure reliable gate closure. This is crucial for applications requiring strict water sealing.
Absolute Self-Locking: Due to the friction characteristics of the screw thread pair, when the motor stops rotating, the gate naturally remains in its current position with absolutely no risk of sliding down due to its own weight. This is a mechanically absolute safety feature that requires no additional brake, offering an extremely high safety factor.

The entire equipment (motor, reducer, screw, and base) is typically integrated into a compact framework, occupying a small footprint.
For small gates, it can even be designed as a hand-cranked type, requiring no power supply, making it highly practical in remote areas or as an emergency backup device.
The foundation and civil engineering requirements are relatively simple, with short installation and commissioning cycles.

Screw transmission provides continuous linear motion, ensuring very smooth gate lifting and lowering without impact or vibration.
It easily achieves precise positioning control. Through electrical control, the gate can be stopped at any height within its stroke, enabling fine adjustment of water flow.

The simple structure and mature manufacturing processes of key components (screw and nut) often result in lower initial investment compared to winch hoists of equivalent thrust.
Daily maintenance primarily focuses on lubricating the screw and periodically replacing the nut. Maintenance has low technical barriers and controllable costs.
