Ductile Iron Gate

Ductile iron gates are water flow control devices made from ductile iron, featuring high strength, high wear resistance, and excellent sealing performance. They are widely used in hydraulic engineering, water supply and drainage systems, and other fields.
Material and Structure
Manufactured from HT250 or ductile iron, complying with CJ/T3006-92 and DL/T5018-2004 standards. Key components have reserved corrosion allowances and undergo stress relief through aging treatment. The structure includes gate frames, gate leaves, lifting seats, etc., categorized by shape into flat (PZ) and arched (PGZ) types. The PGZ type employs a 60-degree central angle design to reduce water pressure load.
Sealing and Water Stoppage
The sealing structure uses inclined iron or copper alloy facings, combined with wedge devices to achieve bidirectional water stoppage. Water leakage can be controlled within 0.03-0.07 liters per minute per meter. The gate leaf periphery is equipped with cast iron borders and transverse stiffeners to enhance rigidity, ensuring smooth operation.
Installation and Maintenance
Requires overall hoisting into the slot and adjustment of the sealing surface gap to within 0.1 mm through secondary concrete pouring. Regular lubrication and anti-corrosion maintenance are necessary. Suitable for small and medium-sized hydraulic engineering, can be manufactured in segments and assembled on-site.
