Cast Iron Flap Valve for Pipes

The cast iron flap gate is a one-way valve installed at the end of drainage pipelines, primarily used to prevent backflow of external water. Its core structure consists of four parts: the valve seat, valve plate, sealing ring, and hinge. It is suitable for both circular and square outlets.
Working Principle
It automatically opens and closes based on the pressure difference inside and outside the pipeline: it opens for discharge when the internal water pressure exceeds the external pressure, and automatically closes when the external water level is higher than the internal level.
Materials and Types
Materials: Traditionally made of metal materials such as cast iron and stainless steel, there is now a gradual shift toward composite materials (e.g., fiberglass reinforced plastic, high-density polyethylene), which offer advantages such as lightweight, fast opening, and good anti-theft performance.
Types: Include floating box type, flat plate type, sleeve type, hanging type, single-door type, and energy-saving type, meeting the needs of various scenarios.
