PGZ Cast Iron Arch Gate

The PGZ cast iron arch gate is a flow control device used in hydraulic engineering, made of cast iron material, featuring corrosion resistance and excellent water-sealing performance. ‌
Structural Features‌
‌Material‌: Mostly made of HT200 gray cast iron or ductile iron, complying with CJ/T3006-92 and DL/T5018-2004 standards. ‌
Design‌: Utilizes a 60-degree central angle arch structure to optimize pressure-bearing performance; the gate plate is surrounded by a cast iron frame and reinforced with transverse stiffeners to enhance rigidity. ‌
Sealing Technology‌: Employs inclined iron or copper alloy facings, achieving bidirectional water sealing through a wedge device. Forward seepage can reach 0.03-0.07 L/m·s, while reverse seepage is slightly higher. ‌
Function and Application‌
‌Purpose‌: Mainly used in small to medium-sized hydroelectric projects, municipal water supply and drainage, and farmland irrigation. It regulates water levels or cuts off flow by driving the gate plate up and down via a hoist. ‌
Performance‌: Capable of withstanding high water pressure and reverse flow impact, with a long service life (normal head: 1-6 meters) and low maintenance costs (requires regular lubrication and anti-corrosion treatment). ‌
Installation Requirements‌
Must be hoisted entirely into the slot, with secondary concrete pouring to adjust the sealing surface gap to within 0.1mm. ‌
During installation, residual mortar between components such as the gate plate and frame must be cleared to avoid affecting operation.
