Model Description

Principle

The automatic vent valve mainly consists of a valve body, valve cover, and support column. The valve body is welded to the floating roof, and the support column is welded to the valve cover. The support column holds the valve cover above the valve body through a positioning sleeve inside the valve body. During installation, it is in the open state, meaning the distance between the valve cover top plate and the valve body sealing ring is approximately 150mm. When the floating roof rises, the valve cover automatically lowers and seals with the valve body's sealing ring. When the floating roof descends to the bottom, the support column contacts the tank bottom first, automatically pushing the valve cover open. This effectively prevents overpressure or vacuum inside the floating roof. The valve body uses a copper-lined ring as the sealing port, and a soft copper braided wire is used between the valve cover and valve body as a static electricity guide wire. The interior of the valve body and the sleeve are lined with copper tubes to prevent lightning strikes and conduct static electricity, ensuring the safe operation of the floating roof and guaranteeing production safety.

Maintenance

1. Regularly check whether the static electricity guide wire between the valve body and valve cover is secure and reliable. If there is any looseness, tighten it promptly and retest the resistance. The resistance should be less than 10Ω.
2. Regularly inspect the sealing gasket inside the valve cover and replace it promptly if damaged.
