Manhole Installation and Maintenance

Since the tank wall manhole is located at the lower part of the oil tank, it withstands significant liquid pressure. To prevent leakage, the installation quality of the manhole must be strictly controlled. The flange and cover plate are machined with sealing water lines, which should be protected during construction to avoid oil leakage during use. Each time the manhole is removed, it should be marked to prevent misalignment during reinstallation, which could compromise sealing integrity. When tightening the nuts on the manhole cover plate, apply force evenly in a diagonal pattern to prevent cover plate deformation or uneven force distribution that may cause oil leakage.
