Description
Additional Information

12-meter weighbridge scanning and weighing system public scale self-service charging

The unattended intelligent weighing system mainly consists of electronic truck scales, computers, printers, video surveillance, radio frequency identification (RFID) reading systems, traffic lights, barriers, and weighing management software. It can be applied in industries such as mining, ports, and waste disposal for cargo measurement. The system can also be implemented by adding hardware and software to existing electronic truck scales currently in use. The system features a standard WINDOWS window interface with Chinese prompts, making it simple and intuitive for users to operate. It facilitates easy querying and statistical reporting, ensuring that weighing tasks are completed promptly upon arrival. This guarantees accurate and reliable weighing data, improving work efficiency and economic benefits. The system offers both manual and automatic weighing modes. In unattended mode, weighing and automatic printing of weight tickets are completed without human intervention, effectively preventing fraudulent practices. It serves as a valuable assistant in modernizing measurement processes.

This system comprises cameras, barrier gates, induction loops, traffic signal lights, RFID readers, image capture cards, lighting systems, computers, printers, and more. The weighing process for vehicles proceeds automatically without the need for manual supervision.

Unattended Weighing System

II. Components of the Unattended Intelligent Weighing System

The unattended intelligent weighing system includes an RFID card system, barriers, traffic lights, LED large screen display systems, video surveillance systems, intercom systems, remote printing systems, anti-remote control fraud devices, and more. Backend centralized storage allows for remote output of weight tickets via network printers in various weighing rooms. The RFID long-range read-write card system and road access control system automatically collect data for each transport vehicle, perform anti-fraud checks, and automatically bar vehicles if the weighing process is incomplete. The system also includes modules for purchase orders, sales, weighing, quality inspection, settlement, and financial interfaces.

III. Features of the Unattended Intelligent System

The unattended intelligent system utilizes microwave RFID technology, electronic truck scale technology, communication technology, automatic control technology, database technology, computer network technology, and software technology, making it a modern intelligent weighing control system.

Main functions of the unattended intelligent weighing system:

1. It can fully automate weighing, automatic printing of weight tickets, automatic capture of images (primarily license plates) from cameras, and video recording without human intervention (unless machine or software malfunctions occur, in which case manual weighing is possible).

2. During data queries, clicking on a specific record simultaneously displays the image captured during weighing on the interface.

3. It can automatically retrieve information such as vehicle number, driver, cargo name, supplier, and consignee based on the card number.

4. A large screen display outside the weighing room can show the weighing weight, allowing drivers to view the data.

5. Weighing methods (single or double weighing) can be configured. For single weighing, the system requires pre-set tare weight. Entering the vehicle number automatically retrieves the corresponding tare weight. For double weighing, the weight ticket is printed after the second weighing.

6. The system features multi-level operational权限 management to prevent accidental alteration of原始 data. Only authorized personnel can modify important parameters, and only super administrators can change weighing data.

7. It supports image capture and video surveillance: When a vehicle stabilizes on the scale, the system automatically saves weighing data and captures images for future reference. The weighing process is monitored via displays.

8. Manual weighing is supported. In case of unattended system failure, manual weighing can be performed to avoid disrupting vehicle weighing.

9. Weighing data can be statistically analyzed daily, monthly, or for specific time periods. Reports and weight tickets can be modified, and the software supports secondary development.

Key characteristics of the unattended intelligent weighing system:

1. Fast information collection: The entire system enables rapid weighing, improving efficiency and eliminating排队等待的现象。

2. Simple and convenient operation: During vehicle weighing, drivers no longer need to stop and submit forms manually, and weighing room operators no longer need to input information into computers, saving time for both parties and reducing the inconvenience of drivers exiting vehicles and manual data entry.

3. Prevention of manual operation loopholes: Automatic data reading ensures all weighing vehicles are recorded by the computer without human intervention, automatically recording data and verifying releases.

4. High security: The use of electronic tags in the microwave automatic identification system provides a globally unique and unalterable ID number, fundamentally eliminating duplication, forgery, and fraud.

5. Long service life: Electronic tags use passive technology, require no maintenance, and have a long lifespan, typically lasting up to 10 years without damage.

IV. Basic Configuration of the Unattended Intelligent Weighing System

1. Weighing Host

Recommended configuration: Advantech industrial computer P4 2.8GHz/2GB/500GB/17-inch LCD. If frequent video recording is required, a larger hard drive (e.g., 1TB) is advised. A high-quality motherboard is also recommended for system stability.

2. Induction Loops

The front induction loop detects whether the vehicle's rear has passed the loop, ensuring the vehicle is fully on the scale. Once the vehicle is on the scale, the front barrier gate lowers. After weighing, when the vehicle passes the rear induction loop, the rear barrier gate automatically lowers, indicating the vehicle has completely exited the scale.

3. Intelligent Barrier Gates

Barrier gates are required at both ends of the scale (special needs may omit them) to control orderly vehicle weighing. Traffic signs can be added to the barriers to remind drivers to enter from one side only.

4. RFID Reader-Writer

The electronic tag reader features long read range (effective read distance over 7 meters), high-speed adaptation to moving objects (up to 160 km/h), high read accuracy (over 99.99%), and strong environmental adaptability. It is a core component of the intelligent weighing system.

5. RFID Cards (Electronic Tags)

Read-write electronic tags are used, operating passively with an ultra-long lifespan, eliminating maintenance concerns for users. Tags are affixed to the vehicle's windshield with special imported adhesive, containing a fixed, unalterable, globally unique ID number with anti-tamper features to prevent swapping.

6. Cameras

Cameras capture images (primarily license plates) of vehicles on the scale and store them in the computer, while also recording video. Cameras are color with 480-pixel clarity.

7. Printer

A ticket printer with automatic paper cutting is required.

8. Traffic Lights

Red light indicates a vehicle on the scale (front barrier down); green light indicates no vehicle (front barrier up).

9. Infrared Sensors

Infrared sensors are installed at both ends of the scale, connected to switch I/O cards via signal lines. When the beam is blocked, the sensor sends a signal to the I/O card. The weighing software retrieves the signal from the input card, and upon detecting an alarm, prohibits data saving and terminates the weighing process.

V. Workflow of the Unattended Intelligent Weighing System:

1. The system administrator issues RFID cards to drivers, pre-loaded with vehicle information. Drivers attach the cards to the windshield. When approaching the scale, the reader detects the vehicle and, if the scale is clear, opens the entrance barrier for the vehicle to drive onto the scale.

2. Once the vehicle is stationary, the camera automatically captures an image of the license plate and saves it to the computer.

3. The computer reads and saves the weighing data from the instrument.

4. After weighing, the exit barrier lifts, allowing the vehicle to drive off the scale.

5. A weight ticket printer is placed at the exit; drivers tear off the printed ticket and depart.

6. The system can operate online, transmitting data and images remotely.
