　　Main Uses

　　Industrial Field:

　　Organic Synthesis: It is a core raw material for preparing acetates (such as ethyl acetate and butyl acetate, used in solvents and fragrances), acetic anhydride (used in pharmaceuticals and dyes), and cellulose acetate (used in plastics and films).

　　Textile and Dyeing: Used as a dyeing auxiliary to adjust the pH of the dye bath, or for fabric treatment (such as wool degreasing).

　　Metal Processing: Used for rust removal (reacting with metal oxides) or as a pH regulator for electroplating solutions.

　　Rubber Industry: Used as a coagulant for natural rubber (destabilizing the rubber emulsion to solidify the rubber).

　　Food Industry:

　　As a food additive (acidulant, number E260), used for flavoring (such as pickled products and canned goods), pH adjustment (extending shelf life), and inhibiting microbial growth (acidic environment inhibits bacterial reproduction).

　　Preparation of food-grade acetates (such as sodium acetate, used for flavoring and as a buffering agent).

　　Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics:

　　Pharmaceutical Synthesis: Used as an intermediate in the preparation of drugs such as aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) and Vitamin B (introducing the acetyl group via acetylation reaction).

　　Cosmetics: Diluted acetic acid is used in skincare products to adjust pH or as an exfoliating ingredient (gently dissolving the stratum corneum).
