In 2017, a new flame retardant business joined the Amuco Group. The new HFFR product line has since become part of the Group’s portfolio. Leveraging advanced technology from the USA and a local R&D centre in Asia, Amuco’s HFFR (Halogen-Free Flame Retardant) solutions are positioned for sustainable growth.

The company produces 10 series of specialty products, covering more than 60 different items, including:

• THIXCLAY® series – advanced nano additives

• SUPBENT® series – rheology modifiers

• FRGEL® – ATO-free HFFR

• BESTGEL® series – organoclay rheological additive (organophilic clay / organophilic bentonite)

• SUPBENT® series – synthetic hectorite gellant & synthetic hydrotalcite clay

• TISON® – high-efficiency bleaching earth, pet litter, civil engineering specialized mud products, and polyamide wax based rheological additive

• ADDEZ® series – specialty materials for Oil drilling fluids and environmental protection
