I. Overview of FPZ Plastic Self-priming Pump
The pump body of FPZ engineering plastic self-priming pump is made of reinforced polypropylene (CFR-PP) through one-time injection molding, which has high mechanical strength and strong corrosion resistance. The pump chamber is equipped with a liquid suction chamber, a liquid storage chamber, a liquid return check valve, a gas-liquid separation chamber and a liquid return hole. It only needs to be filled with priming liquid before the first startup, and there is no need to repeatedly fill the priming liquid afterwards. When sucking and conveying medium, the liquid can be intermittent. If the liquid is interrupted, it can continue to suck and convey when the liquid comes within 15 minutes. The inner cavity of the pump body is smooth, the impeller is closed, and two types of mechanical seal and rubber-resistant ring seal are adopted. The mechanical seal does not need additional cooling water for cooling. It has the advantages of small size, light weight, simple structure, easy operation, safety and no leakage. It is mainly used to transport corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis and salts with a temperature of -14℃ to 80℃, but it must not be used to transport chemicals that have significant effects on ABS engineering plastics, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, halogen derivatives of aliphatic hydrocarbons, ketones and concentrated acids and alkalis.

1. Before installing and using the pump (due to long-distance transportation), carefully check whether all fasteners are loose. If they are loose, retighten them. Check the concentricity of the pump shaft and the motor shaft. If there is a deviation, it must be corrected.
2. The installation pipeline shall not be directly supported on the inlet and outlet flanges of the pump. Additional support points must be set to prevent deformation and damage. The pipeline should have as few elbows as possible to reduce hydraulic loss. The number of 90° elbows shall not exceed two. The suction pipeline shall not leak air, otherwise it will affect the vacuum pumping and liquid discharge time, or cause no liquid discharge, insufficient flow or insufficient head.
3. Before starting up, open the liquid injection cover, fill the pump body with priming liquid, and tighten the liquid injection cover to prevent air leakage. It is strictly forbidden to run dry or reverse rotation without liquid.
4. For pumps with bracket bearing boxes, cooling oil must be added to half of the sight glass before use, otherwise the bearings will be burned out, and the oil must be replaced regularly.
5. The conveyed liquid must not contain sediment or long soft fibers, so as to prevent clogging and damage to the impeller and mechanical seal.
6. A valve shall be installed at the outlet of the pump. Close the valve before stopping the pump, and start the pump before opening the valve.
