I. Introduction:
The unique eccentric sealing design of the PLVG eccentric plug valve greatly reduces the operating torque compared with traditional plug valves, minimizes wear on the sealing surface, and extends the service life of the valve. With its straight-through rectangular flow passage, it features low head loss and excellent linear flow regulation. It is suitable for working environments such as municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, slurry, and clear water, and is used as an interception or regulation device. The eccentric plug valve overcomes the shortcomings of poor sealing performance and easy corrosion of traditional plug valves. II. Features:
1. An eccentric distance is designed between the center of the valve sealing surface and the rotation axis of the plug. By utilizing the principle of eccentric motion, the plug tightens against the valve seat as it rotates during closing, ensuring a tight seal; during opening, the plug quickly disengages from the valve seat, resulting in no contact wear, light operation, and a long service life for the valve.
2. The plug skeleton made of ductile iron is integrally wrapped with high-performance rubber through hot processing, providing excellent sealing elasticity and eliminating concerns about rubber shedding and erosion.
3. Depending on the working medium, the valve seat can be made of pure nickel, stainless steel, or other special materials, and is compounded with the valve body using new surface treatment technology. It has a firm combination and can resist erosion by various media.
4. The straight-through flow passage results in very low head loss of the valve; the rectangular flow cross-section of the valve seat enables linear flow regulation. The large geometric size of the rectangle and the self-flushing design of the flow passage make it more suitable for applications involving sewage or solid impurities.
5. The valve shaft and plug are integrally cast, providing high strength and torsional transmission rigidity, eliminating the risk of pin failure in traditional plug valves. The弓形 plug reduces the weight by nearly half compared with traditional plungers, avoids the flow passage when the valve is fully open, and has a flow guiding effect.
6. The valve body is made of high-strength ductile iron, reducing the weight by more than 20% compared with traditional plug valves. The short face-to-face distance of the valve body shortens the residence time of the fluid in the flow passage, and the increased fluid velocity reduces the deposition of impurities.
7. The inner and outer surfaces of the valve are electrostatically sprayed with non-toxic epoxy resin to prevent the valve body from rusting, making it suitable for harsh environments such as sewage systems, outdoor areas, and underground locations.
