I. Overview:
The WA42F46 spring-loaded PTFE-lined safety valve is the latest type of special safety valve for the chemical industry developed by our company through digestion and absorption of advanced technologies at home and abroad. This valve is an automatic pressure relief device used in pressure vessels, pressure equipment and pipelines handling highly corrosive media such as chlor-alkali chemicals and hydrochloric acid. Its key parts are fully lined with PTFE (PFA, F46), which is resistant to hydrochloric acid and other highly corrosive media. The valve body undergoes ion pulse nitriding chemical treatment or is lined with PTFE (PFA, F46) to enhance corrosion resistance. This valve adopts a double seal of corrosion-resistant corrugated pipe or fluororubber O-ring to prevent external leakage of the medium, which fully meets the national sealing performance standards. It is an updated product in the field of corrosion-resistant chemical valves such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid.
II. Main Features:
A spring-loaded safety valve opens and closes automatically according to the working pressure of the pressure system, and is generally installed on equipment or pipelines of a closed system to protect the system safety. When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the set pressure of the spring-loaded safety valve, it will automatically open to release pressure, ensuring that the medium pressure in the equipment and pipeline is below the set pressure, protecting the normal operation of the equipment and pipeline, preventing accidents and reducing losses. The spring-loaded safety valve plays a role in safety protection in the system. When the system pressure exceeds the specified value, the spring-loaded safety valve opens, discharging part of the gas in the system into the atmosphere, so that the system pressure does not exceed the allowable value, thus ensuring that the system will not have an accident due to excessive pressure.
III. Working Principle:
PTFE-lined safety valve achieves sealing by adjusting the spring force to overcome the medium. When the spring force is greater than the normal pressure of the medium, the valve disc is in a closed state. When the medium pressure exceeds the set pressure, the spring is compressed, causing the sealing surface of the valve disc to separate, and the valve opens automatically, followed by full-capacity discharge. When the medium pressure drops to a normal value, the spring force pushes the valve disc towards the valve seat, the sealing surface of the valve disc coincides with the sealing surface of the valve seat, and the valve closes automatically.
