The New Energy Power 10kV line Static Var Generator (SVG) is installed outdoors on poles based on the load characteristics of the 10kV line.
The 10kV line SVG uses a low-voltage 0.6kV compensation unit, which is stepped up by a 10kV/0.6kV dry-type transformer before being connected to the 10kV line. Different from traditional MSC (contactor-switched capacitor banks)/TSC (thyristor-switched capacitor banks) that switch in different capacitor banks according to the inductive reactive power of the system, it adopts an advanced power electronic device IGBT to form a bridge converter circuit. By sampling the load current and separating each harmonic and reactive power, it quickly responds to changes in system load, actively controls the magnitude, frequency and phase of the output current, realizes dynamic reactive power compensation and harmonic elimination, and stabilizes the system voltage. It has the characteristics of fast response, stepless reactive power compensation, strong filtering capability, flexible installation, convenient expansion, small footprint, etc.
