Sinopec Catalyst Company

Sinopec Catalyst Company (SCC) was established in Beijing on December 29, 2004. It is a integrated special company that endeavors to commercialize the most advanced technology achievements, to optimize the production management, and to promote high quality technical service. It holds the responsibility in unification of the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, the production management for all its subsidiary companies, the marketing and sales, the development strategy and planning, and the management policy and implementation.

The manufacturing facilities and bases of SCC are mainly located in Beijing, Shanghai, Hunan, Shandong and Jiangsu. It has six wholly owned subsidiary companies that are Changling, Qilu, Beijing Auda,，Beijing Yanshan，Shanghai and Nanjing. And it has two holding subsidiaries that are Hunan Jianchang Company and Shanghai Leader Company. SCC has 1026 professionals, including 6 with professorship and 119 with senior engineers, of which 4 with Ph.Degree and 49 with master抯 degree. It has set up its own postdoctoral training station.

SCC is the biggest manufacturer and supplier of petroleum and chemical catalysts in China. Its product lines cover FCC catalysts, hydrofining catalysts, hydrocracking catalysts, residual oil hydrogenation catalysts, FCC sulfur reducing additives, FCC propylene enhancing additives, reforming catalysts, isomerization catalysts, ethyl benzene dehydrogenation catalysts, acrylonitrile catalysts, PTA catalysts, catalysts for one-stage hydrogenation of cracking gasoline, ethylene polymerization catalysts, propylene polymerization catalysts, and paraxylene adsorbents. While meeting the demand of the domestic market, SCC also has been exploring and developing the international markets in a broad range from Asia to Europe and to the United States.
