Performance: Sulfur antiscorching agent CTP (PVI) is a white or light yellow crystal. It is soluble in ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in gasoline, and insoluble in kerosene and water.
Applications:CTP is mainly used in natural rubber and synthetic rubber. It can delay the initial vulcanization of natural rubber and diene synthetic rubber, improve processing safety, and has almost no impact on vulcanization speed and the properties of vulcanizates. It can be used together with accelerators NS, M, DM, CBS and effective or semi-effective vulcanization systems to improve the properties of rubber compounds. There are no adverse side effects such as foaming and pollution. Especially when used together with sulfenamide accelerators, it forms a good vulcanization system. It can significantly improve the storage stability of rubber compounds and prevent spontaneous vulcanization during storage. Compared with previous antiscorching agents, it has better effects and less dosage, usually 0.1-0.5 parts.
