Properties: Sulfur accelerator DPG(D) is a white or gray-white powder with a bitter taste. Soluble in ethanol and benzene, slightly soluble in air and stable.
Applications: Used as a medium-speed accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber, and also as an activator for thiazole, thiuram and sulfenamide accelerators. It acts as a plasticizer and peptizer in neoprene rubber. For applications in rubber products that come into contact with food, please refer to the relevant sections of FDA and Bg VV.
