Features and Applications

ZMBT is mainly used as a main accelerator in latex together with ZDMC or ZDEC. Latex films vulcanized with ZMBT have relatively high modulus. In addition, it can be used in foam rubber without increasing the vulcanization time.

Performance: Sulfur® Accelerator ZMBT(MZ) is a white to light yellow powder. It is slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water and gasoline, and decomposes when encountering strong acids and strong alkalis.
Applications: Accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex. Its performance is similar to that of Accelerator M, but its promoting effect is weaker, and the critical vulcanization temperature is high (138°C). The general dosage is 0.5-1.5%. Storage: Store in a sealed, cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight.
