Features and Applications

Actmix CaO-80GE mainly plays a role in defoaming in extruded rubber products. This is because calcium oxide (CaO) absorbs water vapor to generate calcium hydroxide, which prevents defects such as bubbles in the rubber compound when rubber products are continuously extruded and vulcanized under non-pressure conditions due to the presence of water vapor. Therefore, this product is particularly suitable for extruded rubber compounds that require continuous vulcanization in hot air, fluidized bed, salt bath or microwave equipment, such as sealing strips for automobiles or construction. Since it can make the cell structure more uniform, CaO can also be used in foamed products, especially microporous sponge rubber products.

Detailed Introduction

Dosage: Under normal circumstances, the addition amount is 2-10 phr.
Applications: Extruded products (sealing strips, rubber hoses), adhesive tapes, conveyor belts, rubber rollers, cable sheaths, rubber floors, foamed sealing strips.
Packaging: Cartons containing 25 bags of 1kg aluminum foil packaging, with a net weight of 25KG per carton; 750kg per pallet.
Storage stability: Store in a sealed, cool, dry and well-ventilated place. The recommended shelf life of the product is one year.
