Features and Applications

Actmix ZnO-80GE/ACT is a common rubber vulcanization activating agent that disperses easily in rubber compounds. It is used in sulfur and effective semi-effective vulcanization systems, forms well-soluble complexes with accelerators, activates accelerators and sulfur, improves vulcanization efficiency, and can also increase the crosslink density of vulcanized rubber to enhance its physical and mechanical properties. Additionally, it can improve the aging resistance of vulcanized rubber. Compared with ordinary zinc oxide, activated zinc oxide can improve the overall physical and mechanical properties of rubber compounds, reduce wear loss, and improve wear resistance. Activated zinc oxide has a higher elastic modulus and lower hysteresis loss. The retention rates of tensile strength and elongation at break of activated zinc oxide compound after hot air aging are significantly better than ordinary compounds, and the dosage of ZnO can be reduced.

Dosage: Usually 3-8 phr
Applications: Used in all rubber products, especially extruded vulcanized rubber products.
Packaging: Cartons lined with PE bags, net weight 25KG per carton, 1000kg per pallet.
Storage stability: Store in a sealed, cool, dry and well-ventilated place. The recommended shelf life of the product is two years.
