Properties: Sulfurflower® accelerator ZBEC is white to light-cream powder, with a relative density of 1.14 g/cm³ and a melting point of no less than 178°C. It is soluble in ethanol, benzene and chloroform, and insoluble in water. It has stable storage performance.
Uses: It is an ultra-accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and rubber latex. It has low vulcanization activation temperature, can replace ZDBC, ZDEC, PZ and other products, and has better operational safety. Most notably, this product will not produce carcinogenic nitrosamines during rubber processing.
It can also be used as an excellent activator for thiazole accelerators. When using this product, the dosage of zinc oxide and sulfur is conventional, and fatty acids can be used or not. It can be directly added to the rubber compound, or added to the rubber latex in the form of a dispersion.
