Rubber masterbatch TMTD-80

TMTD has very fast curing speed and good scorch safety when used in natural rubber and synthetic rubber.
If mercaptan or sulfenamide accelerators are added, the curing will be delayed,
but the crosslinking degree is hardly affected, only the scorch rate is reduced and the total curing time is extended.
Alkaline accelerators such as aldehyde-amines and guanidines have an activating effect on TMTD.
When used together with sulfur, TMTD is used as the main accelerator, and when used together with thiazoles, it is used as the secondary accelerator,
or as a curing agent in sulfur-free curing.
Sulfur-free or low-sulfur curing can endow vulcanized rubber with good heat aging resistance.
Dosage: Main accelerator: 0.1~1 part used together with 1~3 parts of sulfur;
For sulfur-free heat-resistant compounds: 2.5~4 parts used together with 0.5 parts of accelerator MBT.

Compared with traditional powdered TMTD, Actmix® TMTD-80GE F140 has the following advantages:
All raw material TMTD with a particle size of 100µm has passed the screening, and no dust will be generated after processing into masterbatch pellets,
which will not cause skin allergies and protect the health of operators;
TMTD-80 masterbatch is pre-dispersed with rubber carrier,
which effectively ensures the activity of TMTD;
The masterbatch pellets do not agglomerate at room temperature, making batching convenient and accurate;
It has a relatively low Mooney viscosity at low temperatures such as 50℃, improving the dispersion quality of TMTD in the compound;
The masterbatch pellets are filtered during granulation, and contain no impurities,
which will not clog the screen during extrusion products, reducing the reject rate and improving production efficiency;
It has good compatibility with different rubbers.
