Properties and applications: Sulfurflower® accelerator TBzTD is light yellow powder or granule. It is a safe secondary amine accelerator, mainly used to replace thiuram auxiliary TMTD, because the presence of nitrosamines is harmful. According to published literature, N-nitrosodibenzylamine is not carcinogenic. In the application of NR, SBR and NBR, TBzTD can be used as the main accelerator or co-accelerator for rapid vulcanization. When used together with ETU in modified CR, it can be used as an inhibitor. Compared with TMTD, TBzTD has safer processing and longer scorch time.
